Hello

My name is Kroy Presley. I am a professional upright and electric bassist. Throughout my career I have performed in live bands, musical theatre, cruise ships, national tours and television. Music genres include Jazz, Classical, Country, Rock, Rockabilly and Blues.

Bio

Kroy was born in Douglasville, G.A., but grew up in Charlotte, N.C. He began playing bass at the age of 8 years old. After finishing high school he attend Central Piedmont Community College in downtown Charlotte where he studied music theory and jazz performance on both electric and upright. It was there at Cpcc where he discover a passion for live performance.

While in college he and his twin brother Clint Presley toured Europe with their Jazz Quintet. Highlights include headlining a concert at Ester Technopole in Limoges, France for their 2007 “Festival Eclats d’Email Jazz.”
